Mediation allows the parties to communicate in an open environment, which encourages them to work towards a mutually agreeable solution. The mediator is a neutral third-party that assists the parties in recognizing and considering possible solutions. Unlike litigation, the parties determine the outcome of the mediation process.
Mediation is a faster process than litigation. Due to the direct involvement of the parties, the exchange of information and ideas is fluid, and the responses are immediate. With an experienced mediator, most mediations can be completed in a matter of hours or days in comparison to the years it might take a court to reach a decision.
Mediation is more cost-effective than litigation. When a mediation is managed in an efficient manner, the parties incur fewer expenses and pay less in hourly fees.
Hogue Mediation and Law, LLC is a full-service firm that provides experienced and professional mediations. We have over 10 years of legal experience in mediations and litigation in the areas of insurance defense (automobile/PIP, homeowners and bodily injury), general business, and family law (divorce, asset division, child support, and parental time sharing agreements). We have a convenient location in the Dadeland/Miami area; however, we can come to you!
We are also available for mediations throughout the state of Florida.
